Brad Marsh: Marshy's Memories: Rookie Firsts - Brad Marsh
great stuff, brad. just wanted to share that you're my favorite flyers defenseman ever. images of you on lying down on the goal line or on your knees behind pelle helping him out during a scramble and hugging him after a win are what i remember most about your time in the orange and black. brings a big smile to my face.
i look forward to reading more stories from your fantastic career. |

The Flyers do have a contemporary version of Brad in Nicklas Grossmann. Blocks a lot of shots, big frame, physical but usually positionally aware, not a lot of offense or a puck mover.

Great to have you around, Brad. I can't wait to read your posts about a terrific time in hockey history.
Of all the games you played, the one, or I should say, the one series that stands out most in my mind was back in 1980-81 quarterfinals when you were still with the Flames. Calgary beat the Flyers in the series 4-3 with the deciding game here in Philly (we lost 4-1).
You were an absolute beast in that series, shutting down everything and everyone that came your way. Needless to say, as frustrating it was to me watch your play during those seven games, it was that much of a pleasure to follow your career here as a Flyer. |

Dear Mr Marsh,
I was a huge fan of yours when you played for the Leafs. In fact, you were one of my favourites. I think it was because you never wore a helmet and thought that was pretty badass as a 8-12 year old. Anyway, just happy you're here.
You're fan,
Ken
ps. So much for that myth that wearing a helmet leads to premature baldness. |

Good to have you around here, nice read. Your first game in the NHL was on my first birthday. Even bigger fan of yours now than before the day started. |

Welcome aboard good sir. We share something in common. We both were there for Mr. Orr's first game as a Blackhawk. Though I suspect your view was much better than mine. Look forward to your contributions. |
